WHNA ‘rocks’ Mardi Gras

The Peace, Love and Winnetka Heights float definitely made an impression during this weekend’s Mardi Gras parade.  The 60’s themed-float won Honorable Mention – a close second to the Stevens Park entry.  Many thanks go out to the following neighbors that spent a lot of time and energy on our entry:

Lee Ruiz, Chris Barker, Crystal & Fernando Gonzalez, Holli Murray, David Haedge, Mike Walker, Oscar Brown, Rob Romano, Sandi Adams and Michele Colbert.  Special thanks to Carol and Jack Hagler for their hospitality pre and post parade on Sunday.  A big thank you also to all of the neighbors who marched in the parade with the float and carried ‘protest’ signs along the route.
