Winnetka Heights To Be Home of First Oak Cliff Music Festival

On Saturday, November 3rd, The Kessler Entertainment Group will present the first ever Oak Cliff Music Festival. The festival will have two stages in the Winnetka Heights neighborhood immediately around the Kessler Theater, featuring top Texas talent including the Joe Ely Band, Carolyn Wonderland, Alejandro Escovedo, and many more.
“Oak Cliff has a rich musical heritage,” says Edwin Cabaniss, of the Kessler Entertainment Group. “Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Erykah Badu, T-Bone Walker, Edie Brickell and Ray Wylie Hubbard, all grew up here. The festival will pay tribute to its past, but also look to its future. Our goal is to make the Oak Cliff Music Festival a highly anticipated annual event that showcases amazing talent and the great neighborhoods that surround our area.”
Proceeds from The North Oak Cliff Music Festival will help benefit the Winnetka Heights Neighborhood Association.
“The Oak Cliff Music Festival will be a great event for our neighborhood,” says neighborhood association President, Lee Ruiz, “Winnetka Heights will get to welcome some of the best bands in Texas while showcasing what a beautiful, fun and vibrant neighborhood we have here.”

Cost: General admission is $12 advanced, $20 day of: VIP are $25 advanced and $35 day of. Kids under 10 are free.
Bands: Carolyn Wonderland, Alejandro Escovedo, The Joe Ely Band with many more to be announced.
