Scenes from National Night Out 2011

Join your neighbors on Tuesday, October 2 as we recognize National Night Out, a crime and safety awareness effort that draws attention to the importance of community involvement in crime prevention.

We will gather on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. in Stemmons Plaza, our park on Jefferson between Windomere and Montclaire.   There will be free food and activities for children.

Dallas City Council Members Scott Griggs and Delia Jasso will stop by for a meet and greet, as will representatives from the Dallas Police Department and the North Oak Cliff United Police Patrol.

We just got word that Oak Cliff Pizza will be providing the snacks on Tuesday night. Be sure to like this local fave on Facebook! We’re also happy to announce another special guest — Texas State Representative Rafael Anchia. Hope to see everyone this Tuesday night!
