The Winnetka Heights Holiday Home Tour is set for this Saturday, from noon to 6, beginning at Turner House, 401 N. Rosemont.
This year a live piano player will entertain crowds at tour headquarters from noon to 4 p.m., playing on the recently restored vintage Steinway grand piano at Turner House. Come see the recent renovations to this jewel of a house in the neighborhood.
Also new this year will be Spokes Pedicabs, which will be available to shuttle guests from house to house. Since it is expected to be a beautiful warm day, riding in a pedicab will be a special way to experience the tour. Hungry? The Dallas food truck scene will also be a part of the tour with two notable food trucks on site, including EasySlider.
Of course, the opportunity to explore an architectural showcase of historic Oak Cliff Craftsman and prairie family homes at their holiday best is the highlight of the tour. To get a preview of the homes, visit www.whhometour.org.
