Mark your calendar for National Night Out

Tuesday, October 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Rosemont Park, located at Rosemont Ave. and 7th St.

Join us for this family-friendly event that’s become a favorite tradition in Winnetka Heights.

Dallas City Council Member Scott Griggs will be stopping by, as well as representatives from the Dallas Police Department and the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department.

Come enjoy free pizza and sodas, music, and plenty of fun activities for the kids including face painting, a bounce house, a piñata, plus you can take pictures of them with the firetruck.

We’ll be offering helpful crime prevention tips and more information about NOCUPP, a program that provides off-duty DPD officers to patrol our neighborhood in order to prevent crime before it happens.

Want to volunteer?
To make this event our best yet, we need a DJ to prepare a mix to play on our sound system, and volunteers to help with clean up after the event. If you want to help out, email Russ Aikman at crimewatch@winnetkaheights.org. We’d greatly appreciate it!
