The Winnetka Heights forum, winnetkaheights.org/forum, is a place for neighbors to discuss neighborhood news, restaurants, events, and other related topics.

IMPORTANT
While everyone can view most of the open forums, ONLY Winnetka Heights residents are allowed to login and post messages. We do this to prevent spam and bogus or hacker registrations that would seek to exploit the system. Residents will also have access to hidden/neighbor-only areas of the forum

Forgot or Lost your login info?
If you remember your username (usually Firstname_Lastname) and email address used to create the account, select the ‘Login’ link, then ‘Forgot Password’ link and enter the information above. The system will email you instructions to reset the passoword.

As many of you know, Adamson High School in Oak Cliff is scheduled to be demolished and replaced in 2010 as part of the DISD bond program.

Many in the community do not want to see this happen.

A meeting has been called for Thursday evening, June 11, at Christ Episcopal Church, 534 W 10th at 6:00PM to discuss options of saving this historic structure.

This building was listed on Preservation Dallas’ 11 Most Endangered List in 2008.

Also, our Crime Watch Committee will have a sign up table for the North Oak Cliff United Police Patrol.  If you sign up by check at the meeting tomorrow,  your six month membership dues for the period from March 15-September 15, 2009 will be only $150 rather than the normal rate of $182.50 and you will get a free yard sign (normally an extra $5) while supplies last.  So don’t forget your check book.
