Don’t miss this weekend’s pop up dog park in Winnetka Heights – plenty of off-leash space for Fido to run!  Bring your four-legged friends to the park located on the Jefferson/12th Street Connector – just south of Jefferson between Edgefield and Clinton. We’ll have pet friendly vendors there (Green Pet, Petropolitan) as well as information on low cost spay and neuter programs, animal rescue (Animal Rescue of Texas will be there) and information from the City of Dallas.

And for those of us that like to pamper ourselves as much as our fur babies, Skin & Body Solutions will be there offering chair massages with all proceeds going to Fido Oak Cliff.

Saturday, August 20^th, join us as we start to get our neighborhood ready for the Holiday Home Tour.  That’s right – we’re starting already!  Our first goal is to get our park spaces spruced up.  It’s hot which is why we’re starting at 7 AM.  Meet us at the park on the corner of Jefferson and Windomere.  Coffee and donuts provided!  Bring your gardening tools – we want to prune, rake and clean because this is a bulk trash weekend.

Saturday, September 24^th, we’ll have our very own pop-up dog park in conjunction with Fido Oak Cliff (www.fidooakcliff.org).  Call it our version of StreetFest for our 4-legged friends/ FidoFest will be held at the park on the east side of the 12th Street Connector.  In addition to a safe environment for your pups to run and play with other neighborhood dogs, we’ll also have local pet-friendly vendors in attendance.  Learn about local pet ordinances and pet adoption programs plus local low-cost spay and neuter options.
