Shed and Fence
All,
When replacing/repairing a shed or fencing, do I need to obtain a CA first?
I'm thinking about completely tearing down the shed in the back of the house. It has fire damage from a previous owner that makes it vulnerable to thieves. In fact they've already struck twice. It's also starting to go down on its own.
My backyard fence faces a similar fate. Several pickets have fallen either through old age, falling tree branches, or animals (yes, animals).
At some point, I was told that you only need a CA if making changes to the front facade of the home. True/False?
Thanks

Re: Shed and Fence
You need a CA and a building permit for any exterior work on your property including out buildings and fences.
