Enter to win a variety of great products and services including a weekend stay at the Four Seasons Las Colinas, dinners, entertainment packages from the Kessler Theater and Texas Theatre, a Stevens Park golf package, wine and spirit baskets, and more!

All Passports and Tickets will be available at Will Call located at the first destination. Passport holders will be provided with instructions via email as the event nears.

Annual Membership Meeting – June 7th

Our annual membership meeting is coming up on June 7th at 7 PM at Turner House.  This is the meeting where we elect new officers and approve any changes to our bylaws.  So we would love to see you there.
We will also be presenting amendments / revisions to our bylaws – including those presented by the Finance Committee.  Thanks to that group for all of the hard work that they have done this year.  If you have suggestions for bylaw amendments or additions, please send them to Michele Colbert at vicepresident@winnetkaheights.org.

WH Winos Wine Tasting in April

Saturday, April 28
Meet-and-greet begins at 7 p.m. and the official tasting starts promptly at 7:30 p.m.
To reserve your spots, email Jack Hagler at Jack.P.Hagler@iCloud.com

The next gathering of the Winnetka Heights Winos will be hosted by Dave and Margie Viss on Saturday, April 28. The theme for our tasting in April is Spanish. The interpretation is up to you. Our food pairings are inherently tapas style, so we’re already there. We’re looking forward to enjoying your “wine with a Spanish flair.”  Coloring outside the lines is encouraged.

Space is limited to 24 people!
Sign up early by emailing Jack Hagler at Jack.P.Hagler@iCloud.com with the name(s) and email address of who will be attending. Residents of Winnetka Heights Historic District and their guest will be given first priority. Non-WHHD residents will be placed on a wait list and accommodated if space allows.

Things to remember:
* Each individual, couple or pair of neighbors brings a bottle of wine and a bite to eat that complements their wine
* Bring whatever wine and food you like – have fun with it
* Bring enough food for at least 24 tastes
* If your food requires a utensil, plate, fork, spoon or toothpick to serve, you must bring these items
* You can warm your dish in the oven or microwave, but do not plan to cook your dish at the host’s home

Sign up quickly. Winnetka Heights Wino wine tastings book to capacity fast. If you have any questions, email Jack or call directly at 817.946.8609. We look forward to seeing you on April 28.

Thank you to Dave and Margie for hosting!

Get free VIP passes to the 2018 Oak Cliff Film Festival

The 2018 Oak Cliff Film Festival is happening June 14-17

Winnetka Heights neighbors have a chance to get FREE VIP badges by participating in the OCFF Couch Network.

The seventh annual Oak Cliff Film Festival will be here before we know it, promising an amazing slate of films, a ton of great parties, a variety of local venues, plus a chance to score free VIP festival badges by housing filmmakers during the festival.

If you have a couch, spare bed, or guest room you’d be willing to share in exchange for VIP festival badges, email info@filmoakcliff.com ASAP. From there, the OCFF team will send interested parties a Google Form questionnaire to gain some insight on pets, smoking preference, etc.

The festival runs from Thursday, June 14 to Sunday, June 17, with some guests arriving on Wednesday, June 13 and departing Monday, June 18. The OCFF will again be offering (2) badges per household, though if someone is hosting a filmmaker for a long time, or housing more than one, that’s a number they’ve historically been flexible with.

This is a great opportunity to get involved in one of the coolest local events of the summer, plus experience it VIP-style for free. Learn more about the festival here
