Step Back In Time

There are more than 600 houses in the Winnetka Heights neighborhood of Oak Cliff, which was platted in 1908 and designated a historic district in 1981. Since then, its homeowners have been diligently preserving the turn of the century architecture while also modernizing the interiors of their homes. The Holiday Home Tour is a rare opportunity to explore both aspects of these charming Craftsman homes up close and personal.

Take a look back at the homes from last year’s Holiday Home Tour!

About Your Impact

The Holiday Home Tour is the Winnetka Heights Neighborhood Association’s hallmark fundraiser, raising capital to improve sidewalks, parks, street lamps, and more in the community that’s a short drive from downtown Dallas and only a few blocks from the renowned Bishop Arts District. The association is dedicated to preserving the neighborhood as an enduring symbol of early 20th Century life, while ensuring Winnetka Heights remains the most vibrant historic district in the city.

The fun begins at the Turner House.

Join us at the historic Turner House (401 N. Rosemont Ave.) to buy or pick-up tickets, which include your map and the home information. From there, choose your own route to tour the homes.
