207 S Willomet Ave
“From the first time we visited the house, we fell in love with the design and beautiful finishes the previous owners selected”
For nearly a decade, the owners of 207 S. Willomet admired Winnetka Heights from afar – or at least, from Kings Highway. They jumped over Davis Street to Winnetka Heights in July of this year to accommodate a growing family of humans (and animals). You can find these finishes at their best in the custom kitchen: bespoke cabinets, Carrara marble surfaces and sink, a new butler’s pantry, and high-end appliances. The brass hardware was sourced from England, coincidentally complementing the owners’ collection of British memorabilia and art by Brenda Bogart. See if you can spot the letter from William and Kate’s personal secretary.
Embracing the extensive renovation by the previous owners, these new neighbors have only added a backyard fence and changed some paint in the bedrooms to complement the refinished hardwood floors and trim, and added their heirloom furniture. Some pieces, including the rattan, were inherited from a grandparents’ mid-century home in Groves, TX. A nod to their last home, the kitchen table is made from shiplap from their Montclair Avenue renovation. “We love Oak Cliff,” they said. “The neighbors and community are one of a kind.”
